At Sign Pro, we believe that a business is more than just a company—it’s a part of a community. Since our founding in 1990, we’ve grown from a small business in a bedroom to a 40,000 sq. ft. solar-powered facility in Plantsville, Connecticut. But no matter how much we’ve expanded, one thing has remained the same: our dedication to giving back.
For over 30 years, we’ve proudly supported local organizations, nonprofit events, and community initiatives. Our goal is simple: to help those in need and create a positive impact wherever we can.
One of our key partnerships is with Southington Bread for Life, a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that no one in our community goes hungry. Their mission is to serve individuals of all ages who experience food insecurity or social hardships. Each year, we organize food drives to support their work, helping provide meals to families across Southington.
We know that strong communities start with strong youth programs. That’s why we’ve been a proud sponsor of local youth sports teams, providing everything from signage to scoreboards. One of our earliest contributions was donating a scoreboard and lights for a local football league, ensuring young athletes could enjoy the game under the best conditions.
From Memorial Park concerts to 5K runs, we actively participate in and sponsor events that bring people together. Whether it's donating event signage or ensuring there’s enough support for local initiatives, we believe in strengthening community bonds through meaningful contributions.
Our dedication to giving back was recently recognized when Pete Repoio, our founder, was named the first-ever Hartford Hospital Corporator of the Year. This distinguished honor reflects our ongoing support for Hartford Hospital and Hartford Healthcare events, along with our contributions to programs that benefit patients, families, and entire communities.
One initiative close to our hearts involved supporting service dogs for local security teams. Our team helped provide life vests for the working dogs, ensuring their safety while they served our community.
Wherever you go in Southington, Connecticut, you’re likely to see our work. Whether it’s a billboard, a sign for an election campaign, or a retirement party banner, you’ll often find that it was donated by Sign Pro. Giving back isn’t just something we do—it’s who we are.
To everyone who has supported us over the years, thank you. We are proud to be a family-owned business that prioritizes community, generosity, and service. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to making a difference—one sign at a time.
